CES EduPack Databases and Project Files
To use the databases: Databases for CES EduPack are stored as '.gdb' files, but the files here are "zipped". Download the files below and extract them and save the .gdb file on your computer. In the CES EduPack click the "Change »" button beside "Database:" in the top left of the screen, and browse to the database file. Click open. Most databases are in CES EduPack 2012 format and will not work in older versions.
Project Files are .ces files and will only open in the CES EduPack or CES Selector. Again these files have been zipped and need to be extracted before you can open them using the CES EduPack. Open them by going to the file menu.
Many resources are open access and you can get a password by registering here.

Many files are large and will take some time to download.

New and emerging materials have been added to a copy of the CES EduPack Level 2 database as part of a project to inspire and engage students, carried out in collaboration with T.U. Berlin. Novel Composites, Aerogels, Ceramic and Metal Foams, Biomimetic materials and Shape Memory Alloys are included. It is available for academics using CES EduPack 2010 or 2011.
